OK, I definitely love it.
As good as the mask looks in this photo, TJP’s Aswang gimmick didn’t work for me at all when watching WK18. I had kinda lapsed on NJPW since before the G1 last year though, so maybe I was missing a lot of context for it? Felt like English commentary couldn’t decide if they could say it was actually TJP for a bit too, like they didn’t know if it was a one time thing or not.
@EccTM I’m mostly in the same boat. While I keep up with the news at least, I haven’t actively watched NJPW as much as I did 2y ago, and the amount of fucks I give regarding TJP in general has always been middling.
I do like the look of it in a vacuum, but the context would help greatly.
