This is so me and my wife. After waking up she needs at least a coffee and a cigarette. Before that you just can’t (and don’t want to) talk to her.

I on the other hand am online mere minutes after waking up which is good for our kids but bad for any attempt of starting the day peacefully with my wife… 😬

I am neither of these, and yet being passionate about a certain topic will make me be this person

Just don’t mention any of my interests at breakfast, and you’re good

Sorry. I’m that talker. And I’ll do it the moment I wake up, too.

I don’t know how I can do it, and it fascinates me.

You know you push boundaries by making people engage with you in conversation when they don’t want to? Yet apparently continue doing it? And that fascinating you?

That’s very confusing to me. Uh, are you neurodivergent…?

Read the useless facts, memorize the useless facts, and have the urge to regurgitate the useless facts to anyone with working ears. That’s Asperger’s in a nutshell.

Great for engineering and programming. Not so great for interacting with regular humans.

        Yes

I don’t do inane convos, however. I want genuine discussion.

I know how to read the room, and I try not to be disruptive, but it’s very difficult, almost painful to not have conversation when another human is around.

Also finding stuff fascinating is prolly WHY I have these issues in the first place.

I just want to have a conversation. What I’ve just read about isn’t always the point of discussion. I like learning about the people I talk to, mostly.

Well this is different from my experience … my whole working life I’m accused of being the antisocial one because I’m not tripping balls at everyone in the morning.

There I was sipping coffee and desiring my space for contemplation… and that is the ‘norm’?

        I feel seen.

I think impulse control is a factor, they just have to talk to that person and can’t wait any more.

“I asked you a question, why aren’t you listening at me?”
B*tch you don’t even exist before I had breakfast and took a shit.

This is some great content - technically not memes but at least it’s not degenerates screen grabbing and posting the same dumbfuck image
