An interesting article on the time line of the universe.
The Universe passed through many epochs, from free quarks and gluons to stable protons and neutrons to neutral atoms to stars, galaxies, planets, and more. The precise time at which these various epochs occurred, including the (current) dark energy-dominated era, can be pinpointed with precision. Here’s how we know.
I have a hard time accepting this timeline when I see it. There’s just too much uncertainty, and there’s zero ability to actually do any experiments to confirm any of this.
Do you have a better theory which is supported by more concrete evidence? If not, the theory we have now is probably the best we’ve got so far.
Am I not allowed to voice criticisms of the timeline theory?
you can, but you offer nothing in return, or even like a lot of X is not really supported by Y. You are just like, nope I just dont buy it. There are lots of papers on how they came to these ideas, bring that shit up.
You haven’t voiced any. You’ve just dismissed a synthesis of a large number of theories and observations with naked incredulity.
