Edit 3: Situation improved. Edits did federate to lemmy.world now. Seems like other stuff is federating again. There’s probably just large delay due to load.Wait Lemmy uses HTTP 1.1?

Well, better than thousands of users each downloading it from you themselves. But indeed lemmy could cache it in request and not instantly, if this isn’t already the case.
