    Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Dream scenario would be this keeps inside the nba and chuck decides to not retire for a bit.

      I think Chuck might postpone it, since TNT will get a much smaller number of games now under the Amazon deal. It might be once a week kind of deal. I think the other networks might offer him more money and he could chance his mind.

    Is the NBA obligated to accept the match? I wonder if TNT has burned too many bridges in the NBA office by prolonging this.

      Saying no could be grounds for a shareholder lawsuit, should they think it was a bad decision financially (unlikely, though)

      I think that’s the right TNT has, to match one of the deals. Only thing I don’t know is if TNT has the robust streaming platform that Amazon does.

          Max was great for streaming the games – if you knew they were there. I’m hoping TNT sticks around solely for their pregame, halftime, and post game coverage. They smoke all the other studios in that area.
