I tend to avoid the network TV / procedural style shows. I gave this one a try because it was made by CBC and set in Greater Vancouver (Surrey). Nothing is ever set here lol
It’s decent, and it touches on more complex topics (ex. harm reduction) fairly well. It also doesn’t rely on relationship drama (as of episode 4), which I appreciate.
I’d give it an 7.5/10 so far. I assume the low ratings on IMDB are because of some review bombing
Is the logo supposed to look like it is from the Divergent series?
Unfortunate coincidence, I thought the same
All caps, white lettering
I liked that show that was set in Vancouver that had the woman come back from a future ruled by corporations and she teams up with the kid that will be the king of all those corporations and she tries to change the past but that means her family will be in a future that never happened just like the hot Irish chick from Heroes and now she has to grapple with that dilemma and also scifi and it had that guy that was in the Winona Earp show and he was also in that Holistic Detective Agency show
Continuum?
That’s the one, sorry, I forgot the word
Why is it being review bombed?
The comments mention “woke”, so maybe something along those lines
People tired of cop shows?
I know I am. And doctor/lawyer/firefighter shows.
Maybe people just don’t like it?
agreed on all points, i dig it, it’s got a bit more bite and sass to it than most canadian shows i’ve sampled, and i found myself looking forward to each new weeks episode. also liked jus reigns Late Bloomer, and am looking forward to it’s second season too.
I’ll check it out, thanks for the recommendation!
