What a horrible time to evangelize for GNU + Linux (as if there ever was a good time). Wayland replacing X11, and Pipewire replacing Pulse. -Both of them tossing functionality out the door and presenting users with even more idiotic choices. It would be one thing to rationalize the use of one or the other by use-case, but the toxic community wants everyone moving forward while telling us the old tech they so highly recommended before is now all of the sudden ‘vulnerable’ and ‘bad’. Wayland is 16+ years old btw and still has major issues. -The cost of FOSS.
