I opened it, enjoyed some European stations, started zooming in on Scotland, and one station was playing a Finnish ad for Finnish hardware stores?

So I’m assuming the ads are targeted and they just slip the targeted ones in at some points? Or a bug or something?

Idk but I’m sure that ad wasn’t playing on a Scottish radio channel.

Edit yeah clearly targeted ads coming based off my Finnish IP. But there are clearly local ads as well. I had no idea how funny it sounds hearing Irish people pronounce Kärcher, haha.

It is pretty useful for practicing a learned language or just to see what the daily commute is like around the planet.

What’s the point of this then?
