Fun fact: Aliens are technically yokai. The word “yokai” means “strange apparition” so it includes spirits, cryptids (bigfoot is a yokai), unexplained phenomena, urban legends (like Turbo Granny), and even aliens.

Not to mention the fact that there’s a traditional yokai which is often interpreted as a UFO.
