    Now if they could automate LineageOS installation and getting it to pass Play Integrity to the Strong level, that would actually be useful!

    Finally! One of the most requested (and complained about the lack of) features from tech circles and even outside of those, but leave it to Lemmy users to be comically negative about it.

    If you lose your iPhone or buy an upgrade, you could reasonably expect to be up and running after an hour, presuming you backed up your prior model. Your Apple stuff all comes over, sure, but most of your third-party apps will still be signed in.

    Interesting, I didn’t know Iphones did this. Will reduce the friction even more when switching phones.
