The Toronto Public Library (TPL) is currently addressing a cybersecurity incident that occurred on Saturday. As a result, some services, including public computers, printing services, the library’s website, “your account” service, tpl:map passes, and digital collections, are temporarily inaccessible. However, TPL branches remain open with available wifi, and phone lines are working. Customers can still borrow and return items during this time.

TPL has stated that there is no evidence of personal information compromise for staff or customers. They are actively working to resolve the issue with the help of third-party experts, but full system restoration may take several days.
