I stopped watching because it turned into the AI channel and doesn’t actually talk about papers.

I think Vsauce is a lot more grifty than he looks. If you look at the really early videos they were very different and he changed his content wildly in order to find something that makes the most money with the least work. The science education happened to be profitable but as the Meta started favouring more than 10+ min and science vids became mini documentaries he just dropped off and started reviewing science toys and do compilation videos. Right now he is doing a lot of shorts because they are being pushed by the algorithm.
Is fire an invention? I feel like it is something that happens to us wether we like it or not.
There is also no way to just be friends. The friendly option are also the fuck options so if approval gets too high you need to actively be an asshole to them.
Yeah, I particularly like the part in lord of the rings where Gandalf randomly tries to fuck Frodo because there was a small approve notification earlier when Frodo helped him open the door to moria.
I never thought of him being immune to Sauron as him being powerful. He is just like the the hobbits but to its fullest. Bombadil is perfectly content with his own existence and there is nothing for the ring to tempt him with.
Arguably that would make it even more effective.
That exists, it’s called a face tattoo.
Natural resources it the prime example. I think all natural resources should exclusively be under democratic control and all profits from the sale of naturals resources goes exclusively to the government. Developed land like private housing gets complicated fast but ideally things should work like things work now but the government fulfills the functions of a landlord.
Nobody should be allowed to own land. You can build a building and that building is yours because you built it but you can’t make land and the only reason you own it is because someone in the past used violence to take it.
I think the gist of it is that it alters the heart rhythm rather than starting and stopping it.
Community points isn’t supposed to be valuable. This is about making people start a vault/wallet and engage in crypto in a way that is fun and non threatening. They already tried it with the avatars but I doubt it got a whole lot of traction. At some point the real crypto currency will appear and suddenly reddit will have a platform with a couple of millions users that already has a wallet set up and ready. That will make reddit one of the biggest crypto platforms on the internet.
This is also what the API thing was about. Third party apps didnt/couldn’t include the vault on their apps so a lot of user didn’t even know the vault existed until now.
Who did they rescript? Is it the wizard?
It’s a single player, narrative game. Being bad at it shouldn’t affect your enjoyment.
It’s a shame there wasn’t a preloading thing because at my current speed I am looking at two more hours of waiting.
I don’t think that is an official term.
By a vast margin. Replies are apparently unusable as a thing for communication because if you have a checkmark the algorithm ignores any other consideration.
It feels like s legal liability to start a instance and not police it. People could upload CP and you would be on the hook because you are the server owner and clearly did nothing to stop it.
Yeah, that is why it’s such a big deal when a big instance defederate from another. If there was a large number of small instances nobody would care.
I think account migration needs to be the next big feature to prevent people from bunching up in big instances. Everyone is new when they start and the biggest one will always be the simplest to find.
And is was interesting when he went trough a paper on light calculations when rendering object and new physics calculation on fluids. The bulk of his content now seems to be “LOOK AT THIS STABLE DIFFUSION!” With “CHATGPT! Look at the AI do stuff!”
