One of the major dangers and problems I have with passwords saved in a browser is that they are not encrypted, and also the fact that many browsers tend to auto fill login forms, as opposed to a password manager extension, such as Bitwarden, that starts in a locked state with all the data truly encrypted.
I’ve been using passwords manager since a few years, but I switched to Bitwarden around Christmas last year after the data breach from LastPass. It’s so much safer than storing them in the browser or on one service that’s not available elsewhere
I kinda miss Reddit, but after browsing it today, it felt kinda weird. Lemmy is starting to feel more and more like home as more people join in and participate. And also the fact that the 0.18 update fixed the numerous issues, it really helps.
It honestly feels like early Reddit and not like the echo chamber/shit show that Reddit is currently right now.
As a Québécois, one piece of software I really like is called Antidote, which does pretty much the same as Grammarly, without the online components, unless you pay for the subscription. It also works in both French and English.
