I find putting a DVD into a DVD player without having to sign in, have credit, a credit card, and have wifi to be the easiest. Usually costs less too

Interesting, thanks for the heads up
Why would supporting Biden be showing more of signal than voting for someone else? If I’m in a state that is going to be for Trump since it’s been Republican for every election since the party’s inception, what is the benefit in sending the message I voted for Biden vs John Doe in the gray party?
But is there any path for that to actually happen? In the US multiple recent presidential elections the popular vote didn’t align with the electoral college, and I haven’t heard of any actual movement towards changing that
Duuuuddee I wish I ever had a popular voting stance on “either side” lol
Such a bummer, a good chunk of users are catfish or bots and the platforms are also exploiting users. I’m not surprised, just kinda bored with the internet in general
Why do the lower classes need to continue sacrificing? What’s brand new jets to new poor person ratio for the climate?
Yeah, whoever is benefiting from those changes is probably counting on it
That’s why education and reading books that disagree with your life, culture and understanding can be very beneficial
Yeah I don’t get why solar punks hate on crypto? Do they like the wastefulness of fiat? Do they understand how much non renewables are used to process a single credit card payment? Or do they have a better form of money?
Crypto could be solar punk, just requires people to use… Solar power… Or am I missing something?
Understandable, nice to have a global “world wide web” exposure
Seriously, how quickly humans adapt. 10 generations ago wouldn’t put up with 1/2 the shit we are just OK with
Lolol

you are a printer we are all printers
It just me or are Lemmy linked URLs looking shadier and shadier?
Yeah I could see that. I think I view it more as the working class, which now includes a lot of gig work - which doesn’t have the same “family” feel as a lot of blue collar jobs have
This is a very interesting take and observation, thank you for sharing
99% of the shit Netflix has is reruns anyways
