Cartoons and books and magic the gathering and Nintendo shit
Fuck me up with a good discussion.
No that’s just something some artists do, it’s not about proving anything.
The entire Cosmere are the best books I’ve read and the most I’ve been obsessively invested in a story.
And that’s saying something, I’ve been obsessed with some damn stories in my time
Holy hell?
Seven years ago on New Year’s Day my little sister unexpectedly passed away, and just a few days ago my stepmom (a mother of little girls 7 and 9) passed.
I would have taken 100 Christmas’s of coal over this. It will be hard to not go into the holidays bracing myself for the next disaster.
I don’t get it, is this exclusively anti-meta?
An air of confidence is the only thing that separates those who are experts in their field and those who know nothing
Something about the travel of the analog sticks was immediately and immensely off putting to me. Not the feel of the plastic surface that your thumbs rest on, but the physical feedback of moving the sticks.
I dunno it’s parhaps a nitpick but I went from ‘holy shit I need this’ to ‘eh it’s a cool device’ within 30 minutes of play time.
Love love loved my steam controller. I wish I bought 50 when they were 5 bucks.
The deck doesn’t feel right in my hands, im glad I was able to sit down and use one before I spent the money.
I would love a Steam Controller 2.0, or even just another run of the original.
Goated
I care what you say ❤️

If you were seeing Middle East arguments that’s your algo, I get video games and anime and book content mostly.
I didn’t hear about it not joining the Fediverse? That’s a shame.
Twitter never clicked with me, I probably spent a cumulative 3 hours or less on Twitter over the last decade. Threads on the other hand, I immediately understood it and enjoyed it in a way that Twitter made impossible.
In 99% of cases it’s not literally believed, but argued for the sport of debate
There’s something interesting about trying to come up with fake science to support the bullshit, and that’s all it’s ever been except for fringe cases
Wait it’s large language models? I thought it was language learning models
Better yet, yell into the cloud, let an LLM respond
No it was a stretch, I’ll let this one pass
No the milkers are the titties, they were trying to be clever.
Threads is a wonderful platform, there and here.
Nice, I dropped out of a poli sci degree for very similar reasons.
On the bright side you don’t need a PhD to produce drugs and bombs, and those things might help with the whole desk crying conundrum.
I dunno about that. The only realistic future imo is that people will stop caring and AI will be treated as an artist’s tool.
Not trying to make a moral judgement about it, thats just the only way I can really see it shaking out.
You already know it’s only gonna get more impressive and ubiquitous.
