The Dungeon Meshi manga is one of my absolute favorites, and it is widely adored in general. Genuinely a fantastic story set in a detailed world. It got picked up for adaptation by Studio Trigger, which so far has basically only done original anime because they don’t like being restricted in any sense whatsoever. Trigger taking on an adaptation, means the staff has genuine love for the source material, and it shows.
It’s a marriage of two things I really like, so I set up the community right before the anime began airing, as a place on Lemmy to appreciate and spread what is shaping up to be one of my favorite pieces of media, ever.
If you’ve any interest in anime or a good fantasy story, consider joining us for the ride. 9 out 24 episodes are out, available on Netflix.
Aside from the fact that the manga began publishing four years before BoTW came out, it could be plausible.
I mean that’s fair. I know nothing about this show whatsoever, just noticed this community showing up lately and like I said all I see is Zelda
I do see the similarity!
