It’s the thing I miss the most on the lemmy apps. The option to just jump from comment to comment, like it was possible on Reddit is fun.

Ah thanks. But I still think rif handled it better. Maybe sync will add it in one day
I would like this feature on each comment. I’m not a fan of the bottom navigation bar
You could long press the top level comment to hide its children. Won’t jump to the next comment, but will make it small enough to see the next one.

Enable both options Settings shortcut: Comment options > Single click to hide comment and the one below it, ‘Hide parent comment’.
That’ll give you the behaviour you want.
