Afternoon everyone,

I wanted to go over a few points related to pricing, stats and the roadmap

Pricing

  1. Sync for Lemmy is completely free with ads (the same as Sync for Reddit)

  2. You can remove ads in the account picker or drawer for a one time fee of ~$20

  3. Sync Ultra also removes ads but it’s not required

  4. I’ll be working on regional prices over the coming weeks

There are now 24k installed users up from 100 the previous day!

I’m going to be spending the next few days going through all of the comments / messages and fixing any crashes.

    I’ve been an alpha testing on sync since the first release. It’s amazing how much has been done and improved over time. I loved Sync for Reddit and I’m gutted that Reddit has pull the plug on 3rd apps.

    I’m very happy Sync is back, and also Boost is on the horizon. 3rd party apps are what built reddit to be the success it was.

    I’ve paid for ad removal, and likely will pay for ultra when the time is right for me.

    I know I’ll use this for many years to come and if Lemmy doesn’t work out, we can try again somewhere else!

    @ljdawson, keep up the good work and producing apps we love! One small thing… will you fix my 2 column portrait bug now? :)
