The enforcer, the gunslinger, the ultimate DAKKA frame - Mesa!

Release date: 2014-11-27

Passive: Mesa has improved proficiency with secondary weapons, and gains a health bonus at the expense of not having a melee weapon equipped.
Ballistic Battery - When activated, this power stores damage caused by guns. When triggered again, that damage is channeled through the next gunshot.
Shooting Gallery - Gives an ally extra damage while jamming the guns of nearby enemies. This power shifts between team members.
Shatter Shield - Envelops Mesa in a barrier of energy, reflecting back incoming bullet damage.
Peacemaker - With intense focus, Mesa draws her Regulator pistols, shooting down her foes in rapid succession.

Acquisition: Main blueprint can be purchased from the Market. Component blueprints can be from defeating Mutalist Alad V on Mutalist Alad V Assassinate, Eris.

A complete 180 from last week’s frame, one of my favorite warframes in the game - Mesa! This warframe is just good at everything the game wants. Most Warframe missions come down to two things: not dying and killing everything fast. Mesa excels at both! I really enjoy how active her playstyle is, especially when using Mesa’s Waltz (which I consider mandatory on her). Shatter Shield damage reduction not working on everything is good design, it keeps you on your feet and forces you to readjust yourself from AoE and melee units. She’s also one of the few Exalted Weapons frames that just keeps getting better and better with time, the newest gain for her being Emerald Archon Shards letting her fully armor strip with Peacemakers alone.

This is one of the times where I feel like the odd one out. I love Mesa’s design, especially the Prime version, but the gameplay style just doesn’t vibe with me. It doesn’t feel active or passive enough, standing in a middle ground where I’d rather pick a full-support or an agile damage dealer instead; The Peacemakers are very cool in theory, I just don’t enjoy using them in practice.

I felt the same way until recently. Brozime’s most recent refresh of Mesa got me thinking that I could vibe with her and keep my high-movement style of play. It’s really fun, she melts practically everything and I can survive most content.

I enjoy rocking viral regulators with four red secondary crit archon shards and an orange secondary crit shard.

Mesa’s waltz becomes less necessary if you are good at bullet jumping, hitting 4 and shooting, then hitting 4 again before you land so you can bullet jump again. speedy killing.

primed sure-footed is a must if you are toggling your 4 a lot for mobility. theres a window where you can get knocked down while in 4 that keeps you from moving, resulting in having to wait for mesa to stand up on her own.

mesa’s 1 is one of the weakest abilities in the game. I put eclipse there as soon as helminth came out.

that does seem good. Ive just used accelerated isotope on her regulators to give them viral and rad damage. Been considering swapping from Eclipse to Nourish and swapping the build element on the pistols to corrosive so I can rock corrosive, radiation, and viral damage on regulators with a more consistent damage amount and a buff to energy orb efficacy.

yeah, nourish to apply viral stacks and building corrosive is fantastic. I just run corrosive anyways, she does enough damage it’s not a big deal
