I just discovered https://baraza.africa/, which is an African focused instance.
Quite interesting to me as I’m not that familiar with that continent.
https://fanaticus.social/ is interesting to follow professional sports
https://ttrpg.network is a tabletop roleplaying game focused instance run by the people who ran r/dndnext
https://mander.xyz/ has lots of cool science and nature news and pics
SLRPNK - Solarpunk art and discussion. https://slrpnk.net/
https://sffa.community - for fantasy and science-fiction related stuff
These links take me to the home page of the instance in a browser. How can I find communities in the instance and follow them in my Lemmy app (I use connect)?
I usually add new communities while logged in on the browser, I just copy the URL into the search bar. I mostly use tools like https://www.search-lemmy.com/
copy the url, go to the login page of connect, paste the url in the “instance” input field and login as a guest
literature.cafe - for readers, book lovers & writers :)
As you mentioned bazara.africa there’s also https://lemmy.eco.br, the Brazilian instance.
yep and the instance is fully run on green energy
Thanks!
