My wife and I both had our fitbits die a few weeks apart after software updates. This is the second time it’s happened to me in the last year. I may not replace it at all as I don’t use it as much as I once did but if I do it sure as shit won’t be with another fitbit product. Support is terrible and they’re clearly up to no good.
Garmin makes a tracker very similar to the one I was using from fitbit, as well as a wide range of smartwatches. I hear they are good quality so that’s likely what I’ll get if I decide to replace it.
I had a Fitbit Sense and really liked it, then made a terrible decision to go to the Google watch. I’ve been waiting for something to happen to it so that I can buy a new device (will be going Garmin), but my cheapness keeps me from upgrading solely from dissatisfaction. Man do I hate this thing though.
That’s true, but unless you plan on being somewhere with no electricity or power banks for a while that’s not really an issue. You take it off and charge it while showering and once you’re out it’s good to go

Google killed Fitbit, like everything else it touches. It was the best on the market until Google bought them.

Garmin are really solid, Check your bank works with them though. Longest battery life of any tech I have used.
Do you mean the pixel watch? What exactly don’t you like? I’m pretty happy with mine.
From what I’ve heard, the battery life is horrible, doesn’t even last 2 full days.
It’s not great, but on par with other WearOS devices. Definitely room for improvement, though.
