Stupid TikTok challenges
I don’t want to turn into a grouchy, old-fashioned person, so I normally encourage and admire whatever the kids do these days, but TikTok is the one exception to the rule.
It’s an app that contributes more harm than fun. Fake news with those heavily-edited minute clips masquerading as helpful advice and those darn challenges.
Don’t get me started on those “helpful” tips that are just pure bollocks, and the rampant fake news that’s even worse than Facebook’s. Also, it trains the younger people to lean into their short attention span with the minute long video format, which doesn’t help.
