Trump bragged of winning both the club championship trophy and the senior club championship trophy at the Trump International Golf Club in Florida.

Biden tweeted from his personal account that it was “quite the accomplishment” for the former president to win a pair of trophies from his own club:

      I also like this one:

“Just the other day a defeated-looking man came up to me and said, ‘Mr. President, I have crushing debt, and I’m completely wiped out,’” Biden said at a fundraiser. “And I had to look at him and say, ‘Donald, I’m sorry. I can’t help you.’”

I’ll assume you understand metaphor/wordplay despite the jab.

You place Trump in remotely the same category as the “poors” which is comical. Obviously Biden doesn’t make this joke about moms on WIC, etc., ie the real poors. You use more charged language like “millionaire president”, but when was the last president who wasnt wealthy? What is your point? You can’t place the Bidens’ wealth remotely near the true robber barons, but thats what you attempt to evoke.

You have not presented facts, but rather used manipulative language endearing to Trump

I’m saying it’s poor messaging by the dems. This is ammo for Fox News and the like.

Not all criticism of the president is support for Trump.

Biden has been paid over 5 million dollars since 1990 by pro Israel groups. That’s what you’re celebrating here. The rich politician who’s aiding a genocide making fun of being poor…

that’s $150K a year over 30 years, and that’s aggregated from numerous groups. He’s raised something like 70 million in the last year alone. Is your point that the influence from “pro Israel” groups is statistical noise?

what receipts? You posted a number and no proof. I literally just did math on your comment.

and 150K is one fifth of one percent (0.02%) of what the DNC raised the last quarter of 2023.

If you’re trying to prove money==influence, you’ve successfully argued that no one is buying much of any influence with DNC for $150K a year.

I’m not even arguing for or against your point, I’m just trying to point out that you’re providing evidence against the point you’re trying to make.

It’s awkward phrasing and needs a hyphen between golfing and talented, but I think it’s generally cromulent. The way I read it is that it was a challenge because there’s a large number of members who are talented at golfing.

That said, when it’s your club, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the trophy. You can do anything.

He uses spray tan and dyes his hair. Just happens to do too much spray tan and looks orange. That’s why for example the Simpsons Trump has flesh-colored circles around his eyes, people wear goggles when they get spray tans and it leaves a distinctive look.

Conspiracy theorists from the right claim that the deep state is trying to oppress trump. Conspiracy theorists from the left think that they are both hand picked and it’s all controlled.

Both are equally stupid and unfounded.

The reality is that it’s the natural outcome of a fptp voting system to devolve into two parties, and a natural consequence of gerrymandering is increased partisanship.

The reason we can’t change anything is that people think a top down approach will work, and if only we could elect the correct president it would fix everything. But the reality if you want the system to change, it’s a slow process that comes from the bottom up.

I disagree. Change is violent and sudden. Often bloody. What you are experiencing is the decay of capitalism. Neoliberalism becomes fascism.

Change is constant. Sometimes it’s violent and sudden, but most times it’s subtle and gradual. If we were talking about something that needed a drastic change, yeah I might agree that this it might most likely come about via violence. But really were talking about how we select our representatives. Not some massively different system.

Pfft. Don Poorleone needs to up his game. I mean, it’s a matter of public record that Kim jong un wins his golf tournaments with holes in ones on all holes, and the last one even lept out of one hole into the other. On. The. Same. Swing. His buddy Putin also wins elections like it’s it’s hobby or something.

Also why the fuck would they make something that takes their income away mandatory for a good experience on their site.
