A couple of weeks ago, I had a giant rip where the ass meets the thigh. Like, big enough my arm fit through. I didn’t realize they were ripped until I was halfway to work.

I somehow managed to keep track of line of sight on everyone and sit down whenever I thought someone might notice and made it through a full shift without anyone noticing.

I mentioned it to my coworker the next day and they had no idea.

Fear of this specific thing is why I’m neurotically over-prepared.

In my van I have a hanging rack with a change of clothes for casual, business casual, and formal occasions. If something happens, I’ve got spares.

It lead to me being a crazy person when it comes to preparedness. Full set of mechanics tools, a bunch of other tools, first aid kit/O2/AED, fire extinguisher, multiple backup batteries, food and water for 3 days, bedroll, compressed air tank for filling tires, and a hidden safe with valuables.

It’s like a little hobby to help fight my anxiety. And it’s come in handy a few times, so I guess in the end it’s less destructive than other things.
