Ultrakill dev says it’s fine to pirate his game if you don’t have money to spare: ‘Culture shouldn’t exist only for those who can afford it’
I actually bought ultrakill but now I have an even bigger respect for the chad that is Hakita
I love that quote!
We should come up with a system that makes this the standard. If you cant afford culture, you fill out a form and get the things reduced or for free. Its not that hard.
My argument for piracy and a lot of other things is this; these things are stolen from us.
The ISP overcharging me, the capitalists operating on infrastructure built with public funds, every part of the chain is designed to rob us of the prosperity that is rightfully ours.

Utopia has been stolen from us and is ours by right!
Yup. I agree. Yet the only way I know to change things is in increments. I see an argument for actually making the situation worse to finally change things. I dont think we will actually see utopia until we eradicate the dark triad.
What I’d like to do is use scalable architecture to create protocols, nodes, frameworks and components for alternate systems of finance and economy in which we can implement a new tamper proof system which doesnt allow for this. Why the fuck are we even using the old one? It’s like using a bank that steals 99% of your salary!
We should come up with a system that makes this the standard.
itch.io arguably does a lot of that. Seems worth supporting, for those of us able to.
Piracy is a great system already in place.
Probably shouldn’t come as a surprise, everyone involved with ultrakill seems like the best people
Thanks, but I didn’t need permission.
