"Darvin Ham is joining the Milwaukee Bucks as the top assistant coach to Doc Rivers, sources tell ESPN. Ham returns to the franchise after spending two years as the Lakers head coach. He had been highly sought-after among teams this spring. https://t.co/k0yZeVKo1t" via Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter
He was good as an assistant here before going to the Lakers actually, think maybe he wasn’t quite ready for a head coaching gig yet since I know you guys had issues with him.
Yeah he lacked the ability to make good adjustments, especially on the fly. Couldn’t believe he put 5 guys on the court in a playoff game that had literally never played together in the regular season. A lot of weird decisions like that and sometimes guys would be getting hot and he’d bench them at the worst possible time. That said, I like the guy and really wish him well. Very well-spoken and keeps a good composure even when under fire. Hope he’s a solid asset for you guys.
