This is one of my favorite strips!

But thinking about it, how much of his head is flesh?

His face isn’t much bigger than normal.

Unless his jawbone has a 1.5 foot chin, most of the head under his mouth is going to be skin and fat.

And if his skull is normal sized, his neck bones must be extremely distended, and his neck muscles must be extremely strong to support the weight of the entire head.

The strip is just better to contemplate as a fanciful idea and move on.

Shrunken heads are made just with the skin, so it doesn’t really matter what’s underneath. He’d still make a larger-than-average shrunken head, albeit with a tiny face comparatively.

Good knowledge, but these guys with skulls displayed on their spears don’t look like shrunken-head type headhunters.

Maybe they keep their shrunken heads in humidity controlled, UV filtering display cabinets off camera like I do.

Ah, good point, I hadn’t seen this one in a long time and forgot about the skulls. Still, he looks like he probably has a larger-than average skull under there.

        Why do you know that!?

On second thought, please ignore that question.
