What’s on your playlist this weekend? Starfield? Still BG3? Something new?

Sea of stars. I’m really enjoying the art style and timing battles. It reminds me of Mario RPG and Chrono trigger.

I like RTS and have been playing Rouge Tower recently. I’m sure I’ll play more this weekend. An interesting tower defense game. There’s enough luck involved that I can’t win consistently but I also think theres more strategy I need to learn.I can pretty consistently win on 1 path mode but have not won at all yet on more paths.

    And CSGO.

Party Animals has beta access for preorders, so that will be one of the main games with friends this weekend. Then inbetween that still playing both Street Fighter 6 and Baldurs Gate 3.

More BG3. Major irl setback my co-op game with my husband and we are only halfway through act 2 in our primary game and act 1 in our “evil” game. I have been casually playing solo on my neutral and evil campaigns, but refuse to go past where we are in our co-op. Really want to experience the game together before I do it solo. It has been a good bonding experience that has increased our relationship happiness. (We’re constantly looking for hobbies we enjoy together but somehow keep missing the mark. BG3 currently fits the bill for both of us). Until another worthy game comes out or I get bored of exploring all the BG3 classes, races, and dialogue options this is my jam. Haven’t even explored the mods yet. It is so vast. I feel like this will be my primary game for a while.

Happy to hear it’s got that much depth and replayability, and glad it works for you and your husband! That’s awesome (even though it sounds like you guys might be playing through slowly?)

I keep hearing more and more kudos about BG3. It sounds like a very well crafted game and when it drops from $60 I’ll try it out.

Subnautica Below Zero. Been working my way through and enjoying it. I don’t think it has matched the intensity of the first one, but I’m liking the new mechanics and story so far.

Been playing through Sekiro for the first time. Sublime combat mechanics in this game… I’ve been scared of all the legendary bosses but none have been unreasonable so far. Just beat the Guardian Ape last night after only 5 tries.

Out of town, so that means the Switch, or more accurately, Red Dead Redemption. Still an absolutely amazing game. Rock solid port, the only slowdown I’ve noticed is when riding a horse through Thieves’ Landing.

It’s actually really great to have a portable nice single player Poker game I can just pick up whenever. It’s made it a lot easier to try and bust out the whole table, I can keep the poker game going for days on end.

Sea of Stars. Admittedly I’m playing on Deck, but it still counts. It’s really good, by the way, I’ve heard people compare it to Chrono Trigger, but with the timed hits I’m getting more Mario RPG/M&L:SS vibes. Absolutely gorgeous and I’ve fallen in love with one of the PCs who is just the best.
