I don’t get it. Is this just random or is there any thought or intention behind the relocation of certain countries?
The space has to fit the countries. It’s random.

I realised it’s not a real map …
But I thought there was maybe some reason behind why some countries where relocated and others weren’t.
There’s some reason. It’s a horizontally flipped map of europe (except for Iceland, Spain and Portugal). The British Isles and Sardinia are scaled to resemble the rough layout of the “base” continent.
