With an attempt to be credible, are there any lessons we can learn from the Iran Hostage Crisis? I get the feeling that the Nigerians won’t be as ideologically motivated as the Iranians were, but I expect a similar response from NATO

I think the biggest thing learned during Iran hostage crisis is that a C130 with rockets pointing everywhere is 100% doable, and should totally be done this time around.

Also, it was codenamed “Credible Sport”, how could we NOT be in favor of it?

and should totally be done this time around.

Even if it gets resolved right now, we should still land a C130 in a stadium, just because.

It’s not really a hostage crisis when the ‘hostage taker’ just wants you to leave and you refuse to do so. That’s actually the opposite of of a hostage crisis.
