I don’t get all the downvotes. Yea the title might be a bit clickbaity but there is a lot of truth to be told in Android’s open nature allowing it to become more private with a little bit of work done, compared to iOS which barely has any room.
TLDR, iOS and Android are both dogshit for privacy but Android can become much better, and become nearly anonymous on custom ROMs such as GrapheneOS or CalyxOS

i have nothing against him and i’m glad snowden did, what he did, but just because he was “in the loop” over a decade ago does not make a recommendation today a big selling point unless for some reason he still has access to the newest nsa tech from his russian exile.

Almost all banking apps work on GrapheneOS.

ps.: don’t bother. the app of my bank is not supported. and it’s a major european one.
GrapheneOS supports all banks because they implemented the SafetyNet required for banking and other high-risk applications.
It’s not the fault of GrapheneOS that there are so few phones with the necessary security. They can’t reprogram your hardware.
More importantly, it doesn’t change anything about Android > iOS.
