On Reddit you could put r/wouldyourather and I would link to that community. But because of federation, that does not work on lemmy. It is written as an email address, but you need to put an ! at the begging so it knows it is not an email address. Thus !wouldyourather@lemmy.dbzer0.com

It’s so your own instance will properly link to it in a way that will cause you being able to interact with it from your own instance.
So for you the link will be https://populi.xyz/c/wouldyourather@lemmy.dbzer0.com
But for me it would be https://discuss.tchncs.de/c/wouldyourather@lemmy.dbzer0.com
But without the ! it thinks it is an email address correct?
