@Albin9325@kerala.party What happened to your posts, everything you posted shows up as deleted. Account deleted ?
Edit: Yes, Albinxxxx is a troll/spammer. It will create an account in an instance and start spamming and eventually delete the account. Report, ban if you find this spammer in your instance or community.
He constantly deletes his account says he is in social media detox
Maybe Lemmy doesn’t mark the profile as deleted

The suspiciously similar account https://suppo.fi/u/Albin7326 is operating simultaneously with the same behaviour: posting in remote instances, and then deleting their posts and comments.
For example, both of these posts were made 2 days ago, and then quickly deleted by the poster:
- https://slrpnk.net/post/3099065 - from the comments, it looks like an advertisement for a suspicious and possibly trojan’d android app disguised as an askLemmy question from Albin9325
- https://slrpnk.net/post/3074818 - from the comments, it looks like an advertisement for a VPN disguised as news from Albin7326
Thanks for investigating this, I’ll refer other mods to this thread for discussion as well.
Thanks for the notice!!. BTW I can’t open these links
Yeah, I should have thought of that. Here’s a screenshot:

As an admin, you should be able to see Albin9325’s deleted posts locally, and find where the post is federated on your plaltform. Sorry I can’t link you directly, I can’t see Alibin9325’s posts local to you either.
This is what I see 🙆♂️ 😁
Yep, I have a version of that list too 😅
If you click on the article link, you can still see the comments that other users made, and kind of work back from that what the article was about.
Maybe they hope that this gets federated out to instances that don’t honour the deleted flag?
Or these posts are still visible to site scrapers like the Google bot and this could effect page rank on search engines?
They keep the posts public long enough to get comments. I think they’re testing the waters for Reddit spam potential. They’ve got a couple of posts that got 300+ upvotes that I think were harmless meme posts to establish credibility before they started phishing.
Google does crawl Lemmy though. It could be a page rank thing also.
It is back again doing the same thing. https://kerala.party/u/AlbinJose008@sopuli.xyz
Nice catch! I’ve sent a pm to the admin @QuentinCallaghan@sopuli.xyz
This looks pretty sus. That person will be banned.
mrmanager@lemmy.today - Albin is using your instance. Check out this post for more information

Upayogikkand ninno, account delete aakiyal post okke pookum inconvienence aanu🙁
Lemmy has a PR in the works that will sort of fix this problem. Users can decide if they want to delete their posts when they delete their account. As we are a really small community 1 person deleting their activity sort of kills the engagement and motivation for others to engage with posts if it is going to be deleted (their comments e.g.).
He did it again 🙉

Replace instance tld with your home instance in the e.g link , if you the first person loading this community from the other instance, you will see some error Msg. Just reload the page when that happens. https://instance.tld/c/kerala@kerala.party
Why albin9326 is talking like albin9325 is some other person ? Now I am really curios what is going on. LOL 😀
