    Sure. For things like which bridge to build or school lunches.

    Things like the US policy on Israel/ Gaza, or US policy on Ukraine/ Russia: issues like this are always elevated to the top.

    And so to me its a “Buck stops where?” question. Like, at a certain point, the buck stops with some one and I’m suggesting it isn’t Biden right now. The guy is clearly not in faculatative command and doesnt (I think) seem aware of the basics of the situation, as the article demonstrates.

      So… you’re saying the Secretary of State is meant to be an international gofer for the president? That no one is supposed to do anything without a clear directive from the president?

      No wonder so many people seem to think the presidency is the only election that matters, they consider the role that of a god-king of ultimate power…
