Why does Molly tend to always run as a background service when Signal didn’t? Doesn’t seem to use much more battery so I guess it’s no biggy, just curious

Signal did run as a background service with Google play, Molly as been running as a background service on my phone for 1 day and 6 hours and used 1% of my battery.
