I woke up around 6am this morning due to a tornado warning alert. felt the whole apartment shake. watched the wind gust, and a poor guy on an electric scooter riding during the event.

I went outside around 8am, saw some minor damage. and some large branches down the street. I live on a street full of Chinese Elms, which often drop large branches on cars.

I didn’t need the alert, but do think homeless people, and people that work early on Saturday mornings benefited from it, so I’m okay with the alert.
