After strong winds and rain toppled trees and caused power outages across Santa Cruz County late Friday and early Saturday, a tornado touched in Scotts Valley, demolishing vehicles, tearing down power lines and injurying some.

    And here I was making fun of the SF weather service being over-excitable with their warning. It actually happened! Didn’t those trees and cars get the memo that we voted out climate change so it no longer exists?
