As Canadians watched a day of considerable political turmoil for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his government given the sudden departure of Chrystia Freeland on Monday, it appears that U.S. president-elect Donald Trump was also watching it unfold.

“The Great State of Canada is stunned as the Finance Minister resigns, or was fired, from her position by Governor Justin Trudeau,”

“Her behavior was totally toxic, and not at all conducive to making deals which are good for the very unhappy citizens of Canada,” Trump continued, ending his post with: “She will not be missed!!!”

    It’s kinda hard to isolate outselves from the US when we share a 5500 mile long land border.

    Like it or not, they’re always going to be an outsized factor of life here.
