Well, cardboard and wood houses in an area of dry-as-a-fart trees and brushworks that burns regularly even without human help are not really sustainable. Who would have thought. Just like housing near the north-eastern coastlines on the Gulf of Mexico (or, as Donald the Jester would like to have it in one of his tantrums “The Gulf of America”) aka Hurricane County.

Investors need to get out of the housing market, because their capital could disappear with a moment’s notice.
Housing is a consumable with a finite lifespan and risk of failure, like bread or milk, not a place to park your money securely and watch it grow.
