I really do hope we have some women in the leadership of any revolutionary organizations that appear. All the best revolutionary books are by women, all the best feminist works are by women, all the best intersectional works are by women, the best analysis of settler-colonialism I’ve read is by women, hell, even the best liberatory science fiction I’ve read is by a woman. It’s time for men to step aside and elevate women. If you’re in a leadership position of an organization and you’re a man, your primary goal should be to find and elevate women to replace you.
Women should be encouraged to do whatever their heart desires, yes. But actively calling one gender better than the other and trying to “replace” people because of their gender doesn’t seem like a good idea to me.
