A San Jose, California, police officer is “no longer employed” with the police department after sending a series of racially biased, “disgusting” messages, according to a news release from San Jose Police Chief Anthony Mata.

“I hate Black people,” one of the messages read, which were discovered during an unrelated investigation into the shooting of a 20-year-old college student.

      You have to be only mostly racist. Like say things about black people. Or use dog whistles saying “thugs”. Or just assault a black person and deny racism had anything to do with it.

      You can’t just bluntly say you hate black people. I mean, they probably can most of the time. But maybe this was like the 20th time and it was getting annoying.

        His mistake was making it obvious and then putting it in writing. Probably no consequences unless you do both of those things.
