(the game is awesome, but the amount of times you die to random polymorphs is incredible)

Yeah… I had to stop playing. It was fun for a good while, but I don’t have the patience to go through that starting area again.
Such a phenomenal yet frustrating game. I’m glad there’s the replay system to capture the joys of an offscreen double cast lightning bolt :)
I can’t find my old reddit post with the gif I’m referring to, (probably for the better since in theory I deleted everything) so maybe I’ll upload it again when I get home

Oh man, love this game. I suck at it and have’t managed to make it past the 4th level, but I love it.
It seems to have a random issue, though - some times when I try to play, the game runs at 1/2 or 1/4 speed. Eventually it fixes itself but I don’t know what causes it or what fixes it.
For me, the hardest level is Hiisi Base (4th level) too. But, I get farther and eventually rofl stomped by a boss fight.
This game took 30 years off my life and then fucked my wife when I was at work.
Do I have to play as random guy with a beard? I’m really into character customization right now.
