Just curious if anyone has experienced this and is this common for communities in the .ml domain?

To be fair, they never go around telling beginners to use their instance.
They do on reddit, thats how I learned about lemmy, they reccomended ml and ca I think
It’s interesting, because when I was originally looking into making a Lemmy account and installer Jerboa, the only supported servers were .world and .ml. So it sure looked like .ml was being promoted in some way. As a beginner at the time I wouldn’t know any better.
I don’t think Jerboa is even affiliated with lemmy.ml. Correct me if I’m wrong tho
