I’d go as far as to say that anything that isn’t an unaltered picture of a cat that you personally took should be banned.

I’m here for cute cats, not AI wank, not memes, not screenshots of Facebook.

The four eyed fish trivolously gives it away, cuz that ain’t no flounder. Also, what cat in its right mind would be stealing a scavenged kill without it tightly secured in its jaws while on the run, let alone clinging a fish to its chest like an anthropomorphic cartoon?

The wide angle composition is kind of cool though, but I prefer photos of real cats.

It’s either AI or they’ve been fishing off Fukushima again. (Fish has extra eyes,)

It’s funny though so I’d allow it. (Probably why I don’t make those decisions,)

To the several people who reported this post:

This community does not have a ban on AI generated images. Especially ones as silly and harmless as this.

Should a user abuse AI generated images, such as spamming them, then action will be taken against them. But one-off silly images like this are fine.

I appreciate this. It does require some skill to get a good picture like this from AI so there is indeed since skill involved, too, if that matters.

Yeah people act like it’s a brainless tool but it only outputs quality based on the users competence and ability to communicate their ideas effectively.

        That’s in short supply, unfortunately.

Well, AI is a brainless tool, only in the sense that it doesn’t work as a substitute for a human brain in the creation process 🌚
