I’ll remember this the next time I feel like going to the US

Surely the fault lies with the client who decided to sign a contract, fully understanding that it was all theoretical and based entirely on future projections, that may or may not be accurate.
It’s not like he was lied to and thought that the ship already existed, or was only a couple of months away from completion.
Gwen Shotwell actually. Honestly fantastic name.
If you’re going to hate Elon Musk it might be a good idea to work out what companies he actually is and isn’t CEO first
Why is SpaceX on that I mean I know “musk bad”, but seriously they’re doing well. Just put Boeing on there again this time for Starliner.
Like with quite a few dynamically type languages you can static type it if you want.
Mcdonald’s would be out of business then.
For the same reason it was a problem when they were releasing PS3 / PS4 games. The PS4 exclusive games were always better because they can actually make use of the console’s power.
It’s not required for US police because in the US the police are essentially militarized and have an accompanying attitude. They are not interested in de-escalating the situation they’re only interested in seeing if they can hurt someone. That’s what happens when they draw their guns in every single interaction including traffic stops.
I’m confused you just randomly have the lotto numbers from a decade back memorized?
How am I supposed to get emotionally attached to someone when I’m having a borderline one-sided conversation. The People you meet on those apps are not interested in carrying the conversation and it’s just mentally exhausting.
They don’t provide any kind of hook that I can respond to.
Even then dating apps are terrible. You have to pay extra just to essentially get the basic service. The free stuff basically doesn’t do anything
It’s because they reckon on 8-hour days but then under UK law they have to give you two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch. So they decide that they don’t like that so you’ve got to work the hours back so they add an extra hour on and then claim that your break times don’t count.
But the problem with that is the only reason that I’m having a break in the town rather than at my house is because of all the other hours I’m doing around it. So really they should be paying for it. Capitalism is going to capitalism.
Well, it’s all Earth.
Is that the ones where they claim it’s remote but really they need you in the office 3 days a week?
I once made the mistake of saying I was willing to relocate, like to a different city or something, and they took that to mean anywhere on the planet. And all the jobs they were asking me about when weird places like Saudi Arabia, and it wasn’t even well paid.
They gave up at “aerodynamic”
The transports don’t use antimatter. And too much or is just used for power generation the transport has just run on that power.
They have guidance on how to talk to people about it. The hospital may or may not have counselors on staff but if they don’t you can always talk to the charities
Right but they get all that energy from atom to energy conversion. The starships get that from antimatter reactors but I’m pretty certain that planet-based installations probably just put a bunch of trees and gravel in as base material, convert that to energy and then convert that back into useful atoms.
If you can do matter conversion, then power generation is almost certainly trivially easy.
If you want ethanol then vodka would be better than beer as it has fewer other components
