That’s not very Christian of them.
That’s not very Christian of them.
Locked up forever sounds a lot like the death penalty.
My wife has ADHD as well as myself. How often I’m trying to make a point by starting off on points that lead to that point, and she makes the point for me, conducts a counter argument, and wastes 30 seconds of me back pedaling to say that’s not at all what I’m trying to get at.
Quantity of of someone’s opinion doesn’t make it truth. My area is fine. I don’t have hundreds of tiktokers complaining about our community. And if they are, they’re yelling into thin air without any foundational issues.
Take what you see online with a grain of salt. Social media isn’t your source of accurate information. It’s how conspiracies start.
Do you believe unverified platformers and anecdotal scenarios experienced by specific people speaking of a problem as fact and accurate?
If I got on tiktok and spewed nonsensical problems and attributed them to a rat outbreak that may or may not exist, will that become truth? How many viewers will I need for it to become truth?
I’ve seen the more sexual tense awkward cut scenes and theories, but watching Leon I never attributed it more than “a young girl going through puberty forced to age quickly, see her family killed, find a confidant and established a bond she’s confusing her attachment with.” in the movie I watched Leon nips that sexual relationship thread in the bud. I’ve seen the alternatives where he does allow it but I thought that was just disturbed fan theories.
Jeez…
I have an unlocked galaxy s21 ultra and was considering giving it new life with a new OS but the amount of “don’t brick your Samsung” and “galaxy phones aren’t compatible with custom roms” put me off. Not sure what to do either
I mean will it matter? If he loses a little it’ll be “rigged to sway a small amount of votes” if he loses by a lot “it’s so rigged they aren’t even trying to make it look close!”
It’s the point 6 where I think you might be deadly wrong. I hope you’re not. But they’re a lot more prepared this time, with judges in position to create enough scrutiny to question the election results, long enough to cause a lot of people who care get their beliefs reinforced that the country is lost to cheaters, and are ready to do a lot more than Jan 6.
Oh warcraft was bad? I actually enjoyed that one, was hoping for a sequel.
Unfortunately celebrity worship is influence, and influence is the key in elections. No influence, no vote. It is power. And the amount of influential power Taylor swift has is absolutely staggering. I wouldn’t be surprised if her endorsing kamala brings in tens if not hundreds of thousands of voters to register.
Thank you for the replies. I appreciate it a lot. You got me thinking hard on coffee now. I’m not sure why I used two filters. Maybe to stop it from flowing over the edges of the drip machine. But now that I think of it, why not use a pour over method? I looked up that hand grinder and see the pour over equipment bought frequently with it.
I might have to try that with the water. But my water is very palatable. I live near Seattle, and my water dispenser is filtered through an insinkerator dispenser, which also does my boiling water.
Lobsters are delicious and butter is not even in many of the ways we eat them
Oooo, I just use ground beans and toss them on two filters and run the coffee pot. My water is kinda hard, we have an espresso machine (breville batista touch) that had us do a water test with our filtered water. If I’m doing espresso we try to do local seller beans from Fred Meyers.
I don’t mind espresso, but an Americano just tastes like coffee that’s been watered down, or too bitter which I don’t mind. But just a drip has been a better taste for me. I’m not extremely picky but I would love to get a better taste because I’ve definitely noticed the difference in coffee beans.
BTW I drink my coffee straight. No cream no sugar most times. And I love it iced.
Maybe. Who am I to judge.
Are we just making up words now?
I think the right cares about kids dying, unfortunately they care about free reign guns as well. So their efforts to deal with this problem is a sideways workaround by fighting fire with fire. Kill the perp before he kills. Add guns. Give everyone guns. Find the good guys.
All of it’s wrong, I know. But it’s not an “oh well” glance at it.
Reddit was full of bots but the people are just savvy enough to make an account. Lemmy’s users are not a general representation of the public, but more of the technical kind. You can probably describe most users just by the most popular posts and interactions here. So…
Male Atheist Liberal In their late 20s but majority in their 30s, with a large amount of trekkies in their 40s for some reason. Pc technical, can use a pc well enough to understand above the basic concepts of the best buy laptop the general public use. Too involved in the world affairs causing rigid pessism of most people who don’t share their views. If you don’t think like us you’re one of “them”.
Oh and anonymous keyboard warriors. Everyone can be a “professional” on a subject if they can dissect a comment someone made and Google any relevant information to refute their arguments. It’s pretty much this that makes them ruder.
