angry bro up there just looking for a fight. you gave a well thought out, value-added comment and don’t deserve to be mocked for it.

i mean, i see nothing wrong with the “non-denominational chaplain” position itself or targeted recruitment advertising for it, aside from the underlying implication that access to mental health services for members of the armed forces is essential an afterthought.
but all that is a completely different situation than using a baptismal portrait as recruitment creative. how is that “all or nothing”?
“is it true you guys implemented a cart-return system utilizing a quarter as collateral? i just want to say, big fan. brilliant.
have you ever tried to paint them, or otherwise recreate them? can be fun
impressive! i aspire to such heights as well.
i do not believe i have ever felt more called out.
that said, History of Rome podcast is also phenomenal sleep ambiance.
put it down as a self employed / freelance endeavor that simply was not sufficiently profitable.
in addition to a play on selective/strategic nudity, i find flipping the script/fucking the patriarchic hierarchy to be both arousing and fulfilling as well.
well, according to legend Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a prince and he still figured out that privilege and wealth causes suffering. alas.
spot on. doesn’t help that he’s a household name with lots of fanboys. actual notoriety of a malignant narcissist partner can easily amplify the self doubt that gets spurred on by gaslighting and other manipulative methods. not to mention she has children with him so she can’t just cut him off completely. can’t say i feel for her, but i sure would want to be in her place.
i know the enchilada sauce is one of the cheapest items in this picture but i recently made some from scratch and can confirm that canned enchilada sauce is absolutely flavorless. alternatively, it is super simple, quick and inexpensive to make from scratch. broth, tomato paste and toasted spices (chili p., ground cumin, garlic p., onion p., pinch of oregano/cayanne/salt/pepper and optional dash of apple cider vinegar) made in a roux and simmered for 10m. that’s it! the difference is night and day. go forth in flavor.
it’s so… glossy. genuinely beautiful shading and highlights. but can you imagine spending time zoomed in on that crotch to get the knuckle sheen just right?
dr bronners cinnamon toothpaste is the best
1. FROM (got hooked during the second season. third season is being filmed now. feels reminiscent of LOST but with darker undertones. so far, a frustratingly few answers have been provided, but i’m really rooting for this mystery series. rich characters, great performances and a plot that leaves you trying to figure it all out for days after.)
2. The Killing (surprisingly intelligent cop drama with excellent character dev and great tension)
3. The Terror (first season - based off the 1845 arctic voyage in search of a viable northern passage shipping route and the ship’s subsequent abandonment after getting by stuck in the ice. the end jumps the shark a bit but the acting is excellent. the concept, environment and mood throughout is captivating.)
4. Nathan For You (loved The Rehearsal and The Curse too, but i don’t think he will ever top NFY. plus, he graduated with really good grades)
5. Mrs. Davis (a lucid acid trip down modernized mythology)
6. On Becoming a God in Central Florida (brilliant satire)
7. 12 Monkeys (2015 series. vibrant, gritty sci-fi)
8. The Bridge (original Danish version)
9. River (cerebral detective drama starring Stellan Skarsgard)
10. Waco / The Aftermath (absolutely love Michael Shannon in this respectful retelling of a highly controversial series of events that had a profound impact on american society)
11. The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart (hard to watch but such an important story. feels like a love letter from past to future generations)
forgot to include:
thank you. i really should have picked that up by the “send flowers” upsell. can you imagine? in a unlikely set of circumstances, the additional option to have said flowers delivered could trigger a rather unfortunate infinite loop.
i think it’s tricky to get a blanket reading because autism can look so dramatically different from one person to the next. i was diagnosed last year (AuDHD) and have since been learning how varied autism can be across different demographics and comorbidities. when i’m stressed, overworked, and/or overloaded, i tend to withdraw to trigger my hyperfocus. a recent new hire in my department who is pretty clearly also autistic has been driving me nuts because when he is stressed, overworked and overloaded, he tends to try to control everything around him with a hyperfocus on what everyone else is doing, instead of focusing on his own work. to the NT’s in the group, i doubt they would think to put him and myself in the same category.
i fucking hate this. i’ve not so lucidly clicked the idea together before that world leaders would and have prolonged conflict, suffering and death abroad for meager and ephemeral political points back home. what a disaster we are as a species.
preppers?
but which would you say came first: The Dragon or elon being perceived by others as The Dragon?
i’m sure, as with any big personality, this relationship evolves concurrently and interdependently. I just wish more had seen through him sooner. it was not difficult to predict that he would ultimately undermine himself faster than he would naturally fall out. we will keep seeing more of his type unless we can get a bit faster on the uptake.
