I have a hand-me-down from a friend, it’s pretty nice but I hardly ever use it in handheld mode which is where it really shines. I use it docked with a kbm+monitor setup. I am using a 4k monitor that I found for free in a Walmart, but I don’t know if it was the optimal choice. The Steam Deck was really only ever intended to play games at 720p or 1080p so I ended up lowering my resolution a pretty large amount just to maintain 30fps in more modern games.

I like it overall though. It runs everything I need to run at a fine enough level and using it has taught me a lot about Linux, it’s a very fun computer. I don’t know if I would pay for it personally because I’m broke as fuck but I appreciate owning it.

I would say you’re for the most part correct but we should all be very well aware of the dangers of our anthropomorphizing of animals. These negative reactions in the public tend to lead to horrible things being done to organisms like sharks and bugs that are important to their ecosystems and the world as a whole.

Projecting human standards of life and morality onto other organisms is inappropriate and a net-harm for both humanity and animals. People doing this behavior would do well to be reminded of how most of their favorite animals like cats, dogs, ducks, goats, etc. reproduce in ways that would be considered absolutely horrifying to our human cultures.

Yeah but they’ll call your family. A friend of mine was recently affected by this, a scammer had a clone of her voice asking for around $300 to fix their car because they got stranded in the middle of nowhere. So they call up your parents and to your mom it’s like “Oh no! My baby! Of course I’ll help you!” and your mom gives them $300 thinking it’s you.
