Father; husband; mechanical engineer. Posting from my self-hosted Lemmy instance here in beautiful New Jersey. I also post from my Pixelfed instance.
We have a big trash day once a month in my town and I always keep an eye out for something good. Recently I picked up a nice, sturdy, homemade cart with big casters in good condition.
By heat?
Lol whoops. I’m leaving it.
You could cook using an exothermic reaction between ingredients, but I don’t think that’s what’s happening when making ceviche, so a ceviche is not cooked.

You can cook with a microwave, but if you’re just reheating something that’s not cooking.
Some of the constituent ingredients have to be cooked, but ceviches and sushi rolls aren’t cooked any more than salads or burritos. They’re assembled or prepared.
I don’t think it’s cooking unless you are applying heat to cause a chemical reaction. So, making a grilled cheese sandwich counts as cooking, but a BP&J does not.
Better than plastic explosives and shrapnel.
I think that is why it won.
I wonder how they did it. Was the firmware hacked to make the batteries ignite or were separate explosives implanted in each pager?
Harris is the VP now. She and her boss have a track record that’s pretty close to Trump’s on these issues and that should carry more weight than a campaign webpage. Also, Harris is notoriously non-committal in her speech (except on Israel), so she really went out of her way in the debate to make it clear that she’ll be tougher on the border and do more fracking than Trump. That’s the real Kamala.
And just so everyone is clear, Trump is also bad. Do not vote for Trump either.
I did not change any topic. The “positions” you found on Harris’s campaign website are bogus and I already addressed that.
We all watched the same debate. Don’t pretend you didn’t notice how Harris wouldn’t be outdone on Israel, the border, or fossil fuels. Whatever Trump said on these topics, Harris promised to do it harder and meaner. She was clearer on these points than she’s been on anything in the past six years.
During the debate, Harris made it clear that she supports Israel, fossil fuels, and tougher border policies much more strongly than Trump. That’s a deal breaker.
What’s wrong with the article? Here’s an Atlantic article that covers Harris’s role in the crisis for corroboration.
Okay, tone-cop, what word would you have used instead to describe deliberately obstructing court orders to apply a specific remedy to a massive eighth amendment violation?
Harris hasn’t said any of that with her chest they way she committed to Israel and fracking the other night. There’s barely any meat in this list anyway? Why did you even quote the Ukraine bit? On the point of reproductive rights in particular, you are Chalie Brown going for a football if you think there’s anything there. The Democrats have a strong track record of not protecting abortion access federally and her campaign is doing the same old blackmail by reminding us of an allegedly looming national abortion ban. It’s time to break the cycle.
The vice president was a prosecutor who advanced her career by putting people in prison and fighting to keep them there in spite of court orders to reduce unconstitutional overcrowding. Trump’s worst antics simply aren’t nearly as demonic.
No she doesn’t. The only issues to which she’s explicitly committed is support for Israel and fracking.
Yeah, but who cares about the camel? How are you going to move all this straw now?
