And if they have money they might spend it on things like fast food, that generates a need for more workers. Who’d have thought?!

Cities asking residents to use less power is largely due to the fact that most cities have no direct policy power to regulate electricity use. Electricity use is primarily the domain of state/provider policy. Cities asking residents to lower power usage is thereby an ask for residents to collectively work to avoid brown/black out situations for the collective good. Messaging like this without a similar ask to the tech/industrial community would still be short sighted at best.
I think that’s at the University of Waterloo - they would routinely close entrances due to aggressive geese.
It’s not the publishers paying the researcher’s salaries, they’re mostly paid by public institutions and receive funding from government grants. If anything, bl researcher pay structure should result in open access publication.
The world would be a much better place if we placed nature’at least at the same level of care as we place generalized human need.
Only if he is elected, which hopefully never happens again.
I was initially drawn to Reddit as a place that offered nuanced conversation. I even used to engage with toxic takes if nothing less than to discredit their take. It’s a complete dumpster fire of toxic ass hats now - not worth commenting within as it’s becoming more and more of a conservative echo chamber.
I can pirate very easily too - probably saved me about $3k in game costs alone while still having a way larger legit library than 99% of Consol owners

Beside each race portrait there is an expanded menu that shows what makes them happy. Referencing this menu is essential to ensure your workers don’t die or leave. I pretty much always get a lumber mill or carpenter asap to help speed up plank production too. Cloth and brick production are pretty essential too, but with planks alone you can at least get everyone housed in the large shelters.
Or robin hooding it to weath transfer from the ultra rich as a form of wealth redistribution. I’d definitely pass my own pocket a little thicker, to your point, but the main thrust of power focusing on personal benefit would be very narrow and short lived in scope.
*Never will the USA government as it is currently established under the existing constitution and electoral process will these changes be made. It is very possible that the union could fail at any moment and history seems to indicate it’s probably not that far from a collapse as a nation.
Have you seen Hallmark films? The $$$ to finance them being made is the only skill required!
Tell me you don’t understand the implications of climate change without telling me you don’t understand the implications of climate change. If you think food and water shortages that put 80-90% of the world’s population at risk of death and simultaneously destroys global economic flows humanity has become reliant on is better quality of life than ever you are dillusenial.
Below zero was still an excellent game. I don’t think it was as good as the original, mostly due to the stupid snow Fox and must of the on land sections, but it doesn’t deserve anywhere near the level of hate it gets. The story was way better and more interesting than the first, and the world design was a great attempt at a different form of world building. I hope they expand on both and we can get an experience that propels the format further. No other game let’s me engage and chill out to anywhere near the same level.
